Mayor Isko Moreno Breaks Silence on Statement of Pres. Duterte Speculated to be About Him

ISKO MORENO – The Manila Mayor reacted to the criticisms of Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte against the photos of a “Metro Manila Mayor” online.

Recently, Mayor Isko Moreno reacted to the criticisms thrown by Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte on the photos of a “Metro Manila Mayor”. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the capital city’s Mayor stressed that the Chief Executive is busy looking at his photo over the photos related to the COVID-19 pandemic like those who are sick and who died.

Mayor Isko expressed that the things he did when he was in showbiz are part of his life and he is not denying them. As to the action of the President, he stressed that he is ‘honored but not happy’.

According to Mayor Isko Moreno, his life is an open book and he is grateful to the late German “Kuya Germs” Moreno for the opportunity given to him to take himself out of his situation before. It is no secret to the public that he was born to a poor family and he even started working at a young age.

Mayor Isko added that it was the opportunity given to him which enabled him to support his family and, as an actor, he had to fulfill a lot of characters and responsibilities. He is happy that he was able to rise from his situation before.

It was in 1998 when Moreno left showbiz and entered politics to run for councilor. He also had his term as Manila’s vice mayor before winning the post to be the capital city’s executive chief.
