Kris Bernal talked about her home network for several years
Actress Kris Bernal revealed these things about her expired contract with GMA-7 that has become her home since she won in the talent search StarStruck.
In her recent vlog, Kris addressed the rumors that she was already talking to other networks regarding her career when she still had a contract with the Kapuso network. She stressed that there is no truth to this as she is respecting her home network and that the other network reached out to her when her GMA contract expired.
“Pero hindi siya umabot sa point na nag-contract signing, nag-close ng deal. Walang ganoon and nangyari lang iyon noong nag-expire na talaga iyong contract ko, as in malinis na malinis,” the actress clarified.
Kris Bernal also said that she has been grateful to GMA since day 1 and she is satisfied with how her career was handled. She also said that when her home network did not renew her contract, this did not upset her.
“I totally understand, wala talaga. Hindi talaga ako nag-hold ng grudges sa GMA. Totoo ito, ha. Wala talaga, as in,” the actress said. Kris, on the other hand, admitted that it is difficult for her to be a freelancer because she just depends on the project that will come to her.
When her network contract expired, the contract that she had under the GMA Artist Center also expired and this led her to the decision to find other managers who can handle her career.
In November of 2020, the actress signed a contract with Cornerstone Entertainment but this ended just recently. Currently, Kris Bernal is being managed by talent manager Arnold L. Vegafria under the ALV Talent Circuit.
She expressed that she is happy with her new management because two months after signing a contract, she already had projects, shows, and guestings. The actress also shared that she is set to do a movie and a TV series.
