Kris Bernal quips about not leaving GMA due to this
Kapuso actress Kris Bernal shared the reason why she can no longer leave her home network GMA.
Kris have been under the management of the Kapuso network from the day 1 of her showbiz career. She was hailed as the ultimate champion in the fourth season of GMA’s reality talent show StarStruck.
Following that win, she was given various TV and movie projects. One of the most memorable project she did was her dual role in Impostora. Throughout the years, she was proven her right to stay in the entertainment industry.
During a recent interview, Kris Bernal was asked about her star in the Walk of Fame at the walkway of GMA network. She shared that she knew about it when she was still in the States for the Gawad Amerika Awards.
“Nasa States pa lang ako, sinabi na sa akin yung Walk of Fame, though, di ba, sa Eastwood, kasi may Walk of Fame din? May star na din ako dun. Kay Kuya Germs, tapos ngayon, siyempre sa GMA naman…” the actress enthused.
Kris added that her star in the Walk of Fame makes her overwhelmed with joy and she is grateful about it. “I’m sure, talagang well-chosen lang yung mabigyan ng isang Walk of Fame star. So, thankful talaga ako. Ibig sabihin, may career ako,” she said.
She even quipped, “sabi ko, bawal na akong umalis ng GMA! Charing!” When asked about her loyalty to her mother network, Kris said that she is at ease working in GMA, based on the article from PEP.
“At saka even yung mga bosses namin, mga artista, alam mo yung walang competition, walang inggitan, walang bias. Lahat, fair ang treatment, so feel ko dahil dun. Parang home talaga yung GMA for me,” she added.
