JASMINE CURTIS-SMITH – The Kapuso actress gave a message to Lia Libradilla, the character she plays in the GMA-7 series “The World Between Us”.
In the said TV series, Jasmine and Tom play the characters of Lia and Brian Libradilla who are half-siblings but they were not aware of it yet. Alden plays the role of Luisito “Louie” Asuncion, an orphan boy who was welcomed by the mother of Lia and Brian (Dina Bonnevie) to her home after his mother died.
Brian, Lia, and Louie grew up together like siblings but Louie and Lia developed romantic feelings for each other. Brian, on the other hand, has always kept a feeling of envy towards Louie for how impressed their mom is of him.
It was an “us against the world” for Louie and Lia when the people around them discovered what they have for each other. They tried to fight for their young love but circumstances took them apart.
Lia and her family went to the United States and stayed there for five years. Louie was left and focused on bettering his life as he awaits the return of Lia – who came back with a heart that has yet to heal from the pain of being left by a lover.
