Jasmine Curtis speaks about Alden Richards
Actress Jasmine Curtis reveals how Pambansang Bae Alden Richards is as her onscreen partner in The World Between Us.
Jasmine and Alden started their career in showbiz almost the same year. However, they weren’t able to work together back then because they were in different TV networks.
“Alden and I kasi, we met way, way back. Like 10 years ago when we were both starting in the industry and we’re both still building our confidence, our core here,” Jasmine shared in an article in PEP.
When they would see each other for a project or an event, Jasmine said that the depth of their personalities have grown, especially when it comes to their craft.
“As a professional, definitely you see the big shift, how he’s shifted trajectory or how it made him the actor that he is now,” the actress said. She added that the last two projects that they did together allowed her to dive into that depth.
She likened the growth of their characters in their new project to the growth of their friendship. Through this, there are able to have deep conversations that would allow them to know each other deeper.
“You cannot put a number on how much we’ve improved. All I can say, is there’s always something stronger when we get to connect with each other every time na magkakatrabaho kami. And I hope that’s something na makikita niyo po rito as Louie and Lia,” Jasmine Curtis said about her and Alden Richards.
Being paired with Alden who has a huge fandom, Jasmine said that as an artist, she has to disregard the negative comments coming from those who do not like their onscreen partnership.
