Violator Pulls Out Gun & Run After Cop Apprehended Him for Not Wearing Face Mask Properly

A health protocol violator nearly shoots the policeman who apprehended him for not wearing his face mask properly.

In Barangay 231, Tondo, Manila, a police officer roaming around the area apprehended a quarantine protocol violator who is not wearing his face mask properly. The man immediately pulled out a gun and ran away.

The policeman chased him and eventually arrested him but the culprit is desperately reaching out his gun. The suspect also cried for help because the local residents might kill him for his alleged involvement in a holdup incident.

Tayuman PCP Commander Pmaj Johnny Boy Itcay said that the cop successfully prevent the health protocol offender to commit crime. However, the suspect denied the accusations against him.

“Nung nakuha na siya ng ating pulis, nagsisigaw siya na papatayin siya ng taong bayan. Alam kasi ng taong bayan na holdaper yun, kung hindi natin naabutan yun baka nagawa na nila yung pangho-holdap,” Itcay said.

The suspect identified as Edgar Quilet explained that he is just selling the gun for P500 and his P100 commission would be used for the medication of his three-month old baby who have allergies. He is formerly working as a tricycle driver but got fired.

“Kaya rin ako nagpumilit tumakbo, Sir kasi kailangan ako ng anak ko. Ako nagpapa-araw do’n sa tuwing umaga do’n Sir,” Quilet explained.

Quilet would face charges of illegal possession of firearms, resisting arrest and violation of health protocols.
