Luis Manzano On Plans To Join Politics, Vilma Santos Tells Him This

Here’s what Vilma Santos said to her son Luis Manzano about joining politics in the country.

LUIS MANZANO – Kapamilya host Luis Manzano has always been encouraged to run and this is what his mother told him about this.

Two administrations ago, many were already encouraging Luis Manzano to enter politics. Apart from show business, the field of politics is no longer stranger to him. His parents are both actors-turned politicians. Vilma Santos is currently a Batangas Representative while his father Edu Manzano served as a vice mayor in Makati from 1998 to 2001.

He is married to Jessy Mendiola and just recently, they talked about politics and his plans regarding running for a position. In his new vlog, Vilma was asked if she will still run for a position and the veteran actress said that she is praying for it. She is not closing any doors and she is considering running for a higher position but she is still making sure about it to herself because she doesn’t want a single vote and trust to be wasted.

Jessy then shifted to Luis and asked him the same question. Is he interested in doing this? The famous host shared that he is not yet at the point of wanting to be in politics but he has plans. It is still not a concrete decision because he also has to make sure to himself that he is ready and willing to sacrifice some things in his career for the sake of public service. Luis is currently one of the most in-demand hosts in the industry.

“Kung sakali man na dumating yung time na yun, it’s because handa na talaga akong maglingkod,” he said. His mother also said her piece and expressed that being in public service is no easy task. There will be indeed sacrifices but the beauty of this job is the fulfillment one may get from helping other people. It’s also a priceless thing once the public puts their trust in you.

And if he will be in position, what he will accordingly prioritize is healthcare for the people.
