Dingdong Dantes Admits He Used To Call Marian Rivera “Suplada”
DINGDONG DANTES – Filipino actor Dingdong Dantes admitted he used to call Marian Rivera “suplada” back in the day.
Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera is best known for her roles in Marimar, Dyesebel, and Darna. She is also an entrepreneur, she’s the owner of ‘Flora Vida,’ a shop that specializes in preserved flower arrangements.
She tied the knot to her fellow artist Dingdong Dantes on December 30, 2014. They have two kids – Maria Letizia “Zia” Dantes and Jose Sixto “Ziggy” Dantes IV. DongYan’s kids are now among the celebrity babies the netizens adore.
Marian Rivera turned 37 on Thursday, August 12, 2021. Yesterday, she uploaded a video of her 5-year-old daughter singing her rendition of the “Happy Birthday song. Shortly after the video’s upload, the netizens showered the actress with birthday greetings and wishes.
In a previous article, her husband Dingdong Dantes shared how he and his family celebrated Marian’s special day. He uploaded photos giving glimpses of Marian’s elegant and intimate birthday party at home.
Dingdong also captured his wife’s precious moments with their kids. In the caption, he shared it was styled by event organizer Teddy Manuel.

In a separate post, Dingdong Dantes shared a beautiful photo of his wife and included a short poem he wrote for her. In his post, he admitted that he used to call her “suplada” back in the day.
It read, “Marimar ang programa kung saan una ko siyang nakilala
“At ang tawag ko noon sa kaniya’y suplada
“Pero ngayon, katorseng taon na ang nakalipas
“Mahal na ang tawag ko sa kaniya.
“Maligayang kaarawan sa Mestizang Caviteña
“Salamat sa Kanya at may isang Marian Rivera… oops.
“Misis Dantes ka na pala”
