The Oppo Reno6 Z 5G was announced on July 20, 2021. The 5G-ready smartphone runs on the Android 11 + ColorOS 11.1 operating system. It is powered by Mediatek MT6853 Dimensity 800U 5G (7 nm) processor coupled with Mali-G57 MC3 graphics processing unit (GPU).

Oppo Reno6 Z 5G is packed with 8 GB of RAM while the internal storage has 128 GB and 256 GB options. It supports single SIM (Nano-SIM) or Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by).

The smartphone measures 160.2 x 73.4 x 7.9 mm and weighs 173 grams. It features a 6.4 inches screen size and the display is AMOLED capacitive touchscreen that gives 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution.

The rear camera of the Oppo Reno6 Z 5G consists of a 64-megapixel (wide) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro) with features like HDR, LED flash, and panorama. On the front, there is a single 32-megapixel (wide) camera.

Reno6 Z is fueled with a non-removable Li-Po 4310 mAh battery + fast charging 30W + reverse charging. It was launched in Aurora and Black colors.

Connectivity options on the smartphone include NFC, GPS with A-GPS, GALILEO, GLONASS, BDS, QZSS, Bluetooth 5.1, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, USB On-The-Go (OTG), and USB Type-C. The device’s sensors include an accelerometer, compass, gyro, proximity, and fingerprint (under display, optical).
