After the controversial walk-out allegations, Ellen Adarna leaves sitcom “John En Ellen”.
ELLEN ADARNA – Famous actress Ellen Adarna is accordingly set to leave the sitcom “John En Ellen” and there are rumors that Rabiya Mateo will replace her.
Comedian Long Mejia confirms in a previous article that actress Ellen Adarna has left amid shooting. There are already writeups about this but her manager denied the rumors. John Estrada and Derek Ramsay also refuted that the actress walked out. Long added that he witnessed what happened on the set on June 25 and he believes that the actress must expressed her apology because many people got affected because of it. It was accordingly “pambabastos” and what she did is very “unprofessional”.

But after his tirades against the actress, the male comedian took back all his statements against the actress and he was the one left apologizing to her. He apologized to her for not understanding the whole situation. He also apologized to her partner Derek and what he said is just the result of feeling bad for their sitcom because she left and he felt bad because they won’t be seeing each other anymore.

And in a report from PEP, John Estrada revealed that Ellen is leaving the show and they are yet waiting if the sitcom will have its third season. Also, in case that the management will call them for season 3, they will be searching for someone who can replace the role of Ellen. In the sitcom, Ellen and John are married.
They are just waiting for the go signal from the higher ups. He added that Ellen properly bid her goodbye to them and many people were messaging them to get Rabiya Mateo replace Ellen. Rabiya is the crowned Miss Universe Philippines 2020 and she previously mentioned her desire to join the show business industry.
Speaking about this, the actor said, “Ang ganda naman talaga ni Rabiya Mateo, Miss Universe, di ba? Pero ang problema, ang kailangan namin, at least nanay, e, di ba? Para hindi na mahirap, kumbaga, to adapt to the role. Kasi, ang Ellen talaga sa John en Ellen is a mother who loves her children, ganun.”
