Long Mejia has these revelations about Ellen Adarna
Veteran comedian Long Mejia confirmed that John en Ellen lead actress Ellen Adarna walked out of the set although her manager, including John Estrada and Derek Ramsay, denied this.
Following the write-ups circulated about the alleged walkout of Ellen and her alleged attitude problem on the set of the TV5 sitcom, people close to her denied the allegations against her.
However, Long, as one of the cast members of the sitcom stressed that he is a witness to what happened on the set on June 25, the last taping day.
Based on the article in PEP, the veteran comedian slammed Ellen Adarna for showing unprofessionalism. Long Mejia has been in the industry for more than two decades now and he said that he already worked with prominent names in the industry but he did not experience an attitude problem with them.
He pointed out that veteran stars like Gloria Diaz, the late Eddie Garcia, and the late Dolphy were so accommodating on the set and gracious towards their co-workers but someone like Ellen has not shown kindness to her co-stars and the production staff.
“Sa totoo lang, ako ang artista na hindi masyadong pinupuna ang lahat. Pero kapag mali na pala yung ginagawa, makakasagot ka talaga. Ngayon lang ako nakaranas nang ganyan,” Long Mejia said.
The veteran comedian also stressed that indeed Ellen Adarna walked out of the set without finishing her scene. “Si Ellen Adarna, hindi pa siya sikat, ha? Mali yung ginawa niya, umalis siya sa gitna ng eksena. Ang salita niya lang sa isang production staff na nadaanan niya, ‘Bye!’ Ano ‘yon?” Long revealed.
He added that the actress should have thought about the welfare of the production staff and her co-stars who are also trying to earn a living amid the pandemic.
“Hindi ba siya nahihiya? Nahihiga siya sa pera, e, yung mga kapwa niya… Kumakain siya ng bulalo. Bulalo ang ulam mo, tapos yung ibang crew, noodles ang kinakain? Wala siyang ginawa kundi magsolo agad,” the veteran comedian added.
Long Mejia also stressed that Ellen Adarna should remember that she was paid to finish the taping but she left with her utility, PA, and Derek Ramsay.
