Long Mejia said that Ellen Adarna should realize her mistake
For veteran comedian Long Mejia, John en Ellen lead actress Ellen Adarna should issue an apology for “walking out” of the sitcom set.
Ellen allegedly left the sitcom set in the middle of the taping despite that she was already paid to finish it. Talking to PEP, Long opened up about his dismay regarding what happened during their last shooting day on June 25.
He pointed out that the kind of attitude that Ellen displayed during the taping is far from the kindness that his former veteran stars have shown to others.
However, the camp of the actress denied this allegation against her. Her manager, as well as her fiancé Derek Ramsay, denied that she walked out of the set. Even her leading man John Estrada who is also the line producer of the sitcom said that the walkout issue is not true.
On the other hand, Long Mejia stood firm as he said that he is a witness to what happened. “Sana maramdaman niya yung mga katrabaho niya. Maramdaman niya, bigyan niya ng halaga, mga tao ‘yon. Mga tao ‘yon na naghahanap lang ng mga trabaho,” the veteran comedian said to Ellen.
He also said that she should be professional when it comes to her job and do not mix her personal life with it. Long even stressed that what she did was “pambabastos” as according to him, the actress left without saying anything to the staff.
“Kaya ako, hindi ako naniniwala na ang pag-aaral, hindi porke’t mataas ang pinag-aralan mo, e, ganoon ang pagkatao mo. Hindi rin pala. Ako, mababa lang ang pagkatao ko pero hindi ko kayang gawin ‘yon. Masama ang loob ko pero tatapusin ko yung shoot namin,” Long Mejia stressed.
He added that Ellen Adarna should issue an apology for what she did. “Dapat mag-apologize si Ellen. Dapat niyang gawin ‘yon para mapatunayan niya na siya, sila ni Derek, mga propesyunal,” the veteran comedian said.
Long could not avoid including Derek in this issue because the comedian said that the hunk actor should have made his fiancée understand the value of professionalism. He also said that he is ready to face Derek and Ellen regarding this matter as he can say what he said in the interview in front of the celebrity couple.
