Actors and close friends Derek Ramsay and John Estrada reacted to the allegation that John en Ellen lead actress Ellen Adarna walked out of the set.
Being the fiancé of Ellen, Derek was asked about the rumor saying that the actress left the set without finishing the scene that she should do. Based on the article in PEP, Derek said that he has no idea about this issue.
He explained that what he knew was that it was the last taping day of his fiancée and so he went to the set to bring her home. The Kapuso actor stressed that to his knowledge, the shoot was just until noon but it was even extended past lunchtime.
“Lumagpas pa nga ng lunch, tapos last eksena na niya, umuwi na siya. Ako pa nga ang nag-drive sa kanya pauwi,” Derek Ramsay said.
In a text message, John Estrada, the lead actor and line producer of the TV5 sitcom, also denied that Ellen Adarna walked out of the set. However, he said that it is true that the actress will no longer be part of the next season. “Pero totoo na aalis na siya because priority niya ang anak niya at siyempre mag-aasawa na, so pamilya ang priority. Naintindihan naman namin. Aalis na siya sa show,” John explained.
Based on the article, sources revealed that Ellen initially intended to do the sitcom for just one season. However, she said yes for the second season because she and Derek Ramsay are close to John Estrada. With this, it was said that there was a peaceful discussion about excluding the actress from the third season.
The manager of Ellen Adarna also denied the allegation that she walked out of the set and that she has an attitude problem while shooting.
