Video of Bataan Residents Happily Catching ‘Tilapia’ in Floodwaters Goes Viral
BLESSING AMID CALAMITY – The video footage of Pilar, Bataan residents were happily catching ‘Tilapia’ in floodwaters earns reactions online.
Over the past few days, different provinces in the country suffered from severe flooding due to the effects of enhanced southwest monsoon triggered by Typhoon Fabian. The habagat continue to bring inclement weather conditions even after Fabian exits PAR.
A Facebook user named Apple Joy Unapoled has shared the video footage of residents in Pilar, Bataan catching tilapia in floodwaters. The video goes viral and garnered various reactions from the online community.
In the video, it can be seen that the town is submerged in floodwaters but the residents including both adults and children are busy catching fish. The residents brought sticks, fishnet, plastic bags, and other items.
Apple expressed her thankfulness for the blessing amid the calamity. The villagers have smiles on their faces and even laughing while catching tilapia.
