Brave Man Earned Praise After Spotted Rescues Dog Being Drift by Heavy Flood
Video footage showing a brave man where he rescues a stray dog being drift by flood due to recent heavy rain earned praise on social media.
Typhoon Fabian recently exacerbated the southwest monsoon, causing adverse weather in several parts of the country. Habagat has brought torrential rains to parts of Metro Manila.
The constant rains have resulted in flooding in a number of regions around Metro Manila. Due to flooding, several roads are already impassable, particularly for light cars. The flooding is exacerbated by the high tide.
In the midst of the flooding, a video of bravery was filmed on Facebook. In the footage, a brave man is seen leaping over the sloping wall to save a stray dog who was swept away by the river.

The man’s activity is extremely dangerous because it puts his life in jeopardy. The man is seen holding to the branches in order to reach the dog who has been washed away by the water. When the man approached the dog, he dragged it out of the roaring torrent.
He was eventually successful in saving the dog from certain death. The residents who witnessed the man’s bravery praised and cheer for him. After his rescue video went viral, the man garnered praises and admiration from the netizens on social media.
