According to Holy Spirit Station 14 commander PLT Col Jeffrey Bilaro, the rescue operation at the JAS Salon and SPA took place at about 4:30 a.m. Around 10:45 p.m., a confidential informant went to the police station and stated that there was a Chinese person inside the said SPA who was being barred from leaving.

As a result, the police started an operation to save Qin, and the suspects were apprehended. A caliber 45 with two magazines, a red Mitsubishi Mirage with the license plate B6 D319, and six cellular phones were taken from the eight.

The suspects wanted money from the Chinese guy, and it was arranged that he would withdraw money from his bank by 10:00 a.m., according to Bilaro. However, the transaction could not be completed owing to his team’s successful rescue of the victim.

It was previously reported that the suspects conversed with the victim, pretending to deliver a massage as a cause for the Chinese to visit the SPA. Eight people have been arrested, and two of them have been charged with Serious Illegal Detention, Robbery (Extortion), and violating RA 10591.
