No tropical cyclone wind signal has been raised due to Fabian and it is not expected to bring heavy rainfall in the country. Fabian enhances Habagat that would bring monsoon rains over Ilocos Region, Zambales, Bataan, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan.

The tropical storm is expected to leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Tuesday evening (July 20) or early Wednesday morning (July 21).

The southwest monsoon would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Northern Samar.

Habagat would also bring similar weather conditions over over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Abra, Benguet, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao and Aurora.

Monsoon rains are also expected over the provinces of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, and Pangasinan.

The weather agency warned that sea travel using small sea craft remains risky due to the moderate to rough coastal water conditions.
