Male Teenager in Tondo Shot by Friend Due to Jealousy

A male teenager in Tondo, Maynila has been shot by his own friend due to jealousy, the culprit admitted that he is drunk.

An 18-year-old suspect tried to take the life of his own friend but the gun failed to function. The victim was able to survive and immediately run to escape from his friend. The incident has been caught on CCTV camera.

“Nagulat na lang po ako pagtingin ko pinuputok niya po pero hindi pumuputok, Tumakbo na lang po ako at sumigaw,” the 19-year-old victim said.

The gunman immediately leave after the incident but returned after a couple of hours but its gun kept on malfunctioning. After a few moments, the suspect was able to fire the gun but it did not hit the victim.

No one got injured on the incident but the victim suffered bruises while trying to escape. The victim sought help from the police authorities and immediately arrest the suspect. The culprit admitted his crime.

The suspect explained that he did the crime due to jealousy because his ex-girlfriend is currently in relationship with the victim.

The male teenager would file charges of attempted murder and illegal possession firearms against the suspect.
