CINDERELLA OBENITA BIO – This is the profile of Cinderella Obenita, this year’s crowned Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental 2021.

57th edition of the Binibining Pilipinas crowned four new queens who will represent the country country in the international pageant in their designated titles and they are:

Masbate’s Hannah Arnold – Binibining Pilipinas International
Cavite’s Samantha Panlilio – Binibining Grand International
Cagayan de Oro’s Cinderella Obenita – Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental
Batangas’ Maureen Montagne – Binibining Pilipinas Globe

This year’s Bb. Pilipinas Intercontinental is Cinderella Faye ‘Cindy’ Obeñita. She is a 25-year old woman who is tall, gorgeous, and intelligent who also embodies hard work and sincerity fit for a beauty queen. She’s been joining pageants since she was young and started participating in the mainstream pageants such as Miss Camiguin Tourism 2015 and Miss Cagayan de Oro 2019. She bagged the crown and the title in both pageants.

Apart from that, she was crowned Miss Cagayan de Oro 2019 at the Limketkai Atrium in Cagayan de Oro last August 2019. And if she will ever win in the international competition, she will the 2nd Pinay to snatch the crown next to Miss Intercontinental 2018 Karen Gallman.

She’s a magna cum laude graduate in the a degree in Mass Communication at Liceo de Cagayan University and she’s always been an achiever in her academics. She’s a Tourism Operations Officer of the Provincial Government of Misamis Oriental. Mother Teresa and Kobe Bryant are her role models and advocates cervical cancer prevention. She is the founder of CROWN CDO: A Cervical Cancer Awareness Circle.

In the pageant, she was asked by Michael Cinco, “How important are luxury items like bags, clothes, and jewelry for a woman when the national economy is down and struggling?”

“In life, we always find ourselves at a crossroad of choices. Women always have a choice whether to prioritize luxury items while we are facing a pandemic and also, we have a choice to embrace a concept of a new beautiful which is responsive to the needs of time, adaptive to the change of times. And I think I will choose to be that woman who understand the problems of the Philippines, the problems of my community so that we will be able to uplift each other and I will be that kind of woman who will comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable.“
