PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Thursday (July 8)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that no weather disturbances are expected to hit the Philippines within the next three days.

On Thursday (July 8, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. No weather disturbances are expected to enter PAR in the next three days.

The Intertropical Convergence Zone or ITCZ would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon would have similar weather conditions. The weather disturbance would also bring cloudy weather condition over with scattered rainshowers or thunderstorms Visayas and Palawan including Kalayaan Islands.

The weather agency also warned the public of possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms due to the effects of ITCZ or localized thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the Northern Luzon, Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro as well as the rest of the archipelago would be slight to moderate.
