PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Saturday (July 3)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the trough of a low-pressure area is expected to affect most parts of the country.

On Saturday (July 3, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The trough of a low-pressure area is expected to affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA reported that the LPA’s trough would bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rainshowers or thunderstorms over Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro.

The LPAs trough would also bring similar weather condition over Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao and Caraga Region. The localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions over remaining parts of the country.

Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon would also experience cloudy weather condition with scattered rainshowers or thunderstorms. Metro Manila and the rest of the country would have the same weather conditions.

The coastal water condition over Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.

The weather agency also warned the residents in the affected area to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods and landslides during moderate to at times heavy rains due to LPAs trough.
