PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Wednesday (June 30)

The state weather bureau PAGASA is monitoring a low-pressure at Extreme Northern Luzon while most parts of the country expects a fair weather condition.

On Wednesday (June 30, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather updates in the country. Fair weather is expected over most parts of the country.

PAGASA said that the low-pressure area has been spotted at 1,860 kilometers of extreme northern Luzon. LPA is unlikely to directly affect the country’s weather condition and has a slim chance of developing into a typhoon.

“Base po sa ating analysis, mababa ang chance nitong LPA na maging isang bagyo,” weather specialist Benison Estareja said.

The southwest monsoon would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon.

Habagat would also bring the same weather condition over Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro. Metro Manila and the rest of the country would have a fair weather condition.

The surrounding sea conditions over the entire country would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
