DOLE Offers 1,500 Jobs to Factory Workers Affected by COVID-19 Pandemic

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) is offering 1, 500 jobs to the factory workers affect by the COVID-19 pandemic.

On Saturday (July 3, 2021), the Labor Department said that the Yazaki-Torres Manufacturing Inc. (YTMI) needs a massive amount of employees to support their operation. The company sought the help of Labor Assistant Secretary Dominique Rubia-Tutay.

The firm seeks the help of Tutay who is also the director of Bureau of Local Employment to give opportunity to the Filipino workers affected by the current health crisis. YTMI is the biggest producer of wiring harness and exporter of automotive parts in the Philippines.

The interested applicants could send their resume’ and contact details at ‘YTMI Hiring’ in Facebook messenger or email address.

DOLE Secretary Silvestre Bello III also expressed its gratitude towards YTMI for their initiative and reminded the Filipinos regarding the importance of “Bayanihan” during this time of pandemic.

“Kailangang magkaroon pa tayo ng pagtutulungan sa pagitan ng pamahalaan at pribadong sektor para patuloy na gumanda ang merkado ng paggawa at bumaba ang bilang ng walang trabaho,” DOLE said.
