PNP Chief Commends 3 Policemen After Helping Pregnant Lady to Give Birth to Baby Girl

Three policemen earned praises and admiration online after helping a pregnant lady to deliver her baby in Jaro, Iloilo.

The Philippine National Police (PNP) reported that three cops identified as Vinjie Nebit, Roman Paja, and Rico Yan Inocencio we’re roaming around Jaro Plaza when they saw a pregnant woman crying for help.

The police officers saw the 27-year-old Ma. Cecilia Cesima who suddenly went into labor after roaming around the plaza. The cops immediately respond and help the woman to give birth to a baby girl.

The helpful policemen brought Cesima and the infant to the West Visayas State University Medical Center for immediate health care. They even give milk and diapers for the baby.

The woman and her child have been placed under the custody of the City Social Welfare and Development Office while waiting for their relatives.

Meanwhile, PNP Chief Police General Guillermo Lorenzo T. Eleazar commends the three cops for their act of kindness towards Cesima and her baby girl. He is also proud of the three for being an inspiration amid this time of pandemic.

“Saludo ako sa tatlong pulis na ito na hindi nagatubili tulungan ang babae sa kanyang panganganak, nagawa nilang tumugon at tumulong sa taong nangangailangan ng agarang responde maski na kakaiba ang sitwasyon,” Eleazar said.
