Chinese National Nabbed After Delivery Rider Discovered with Illegal Drugs
Authorities arrested a Chinese National after a delivery rider reported the illegal drugs he delivered to the operatives in Makati City.
A Chinese national was arrested in Makati on Tuesday after a delivery rider was discovered with suspected shabu in the package he was delivering. After receiving a delivery outside a condominium in Barangay Bel-Air, police apprehended the 31-year-old Chinese guy.
After seeing a packet of white powder being presented to him by a man in a condominium on Kalayaan Ave, the rider, alias Berto, reported the incident to the police. It weighed roughly 1.5 grams, or P10,000, according to the authorities.

According to Berto’s account, the illegal drugs was declared as face mask. She got dubious, however, when the man appeared to be in a hurry to hand her the package and did not look inside.
So, despite the fact that he was on his way, he paused to examine its contents. The Chinese denied that he was aware of the presence of illegal drugs in the package or that he was abusing narcotics.
According to Police Maj. John Patrick Magsalos, head of police substation 6, he has been captured delivering shabu in Makati three times in the last year. Customers include not only Chinese but also Europeans and Filipinos.
The origins of the shabu is still being investigated by police, especially since the package’s sender has also vanished. The Chinese have been charged with illicit drug possession.
