Another Improper COVID-19 Vaccination Caught on Cam in Mandaluyong
Video footage of another improper COVID-19 vaccination where health worker only inject the syringe but did not push the content in Mandaluyong.
Aside from Makati City viral video, there was also an incidence in Mandaluyong when a person was given the COVID-19 immunization but not the medicine itself. However, the issue appeared to be resolved almost immediately.
Eken Afuan Matsunaga, like the event in Makati, videotaped the injection but did not squeeze the syringe to discharge the drugs, according to a report released on Tuesday. Matsunaga underlined that he had no reservations regarding the city’s vaccination program and has not expressed any dissatisfaction.

After showing the footage, he was allegedly injected. Although the medicine has not been administered, the Department of Health (DOH) has not yet responded to this new incidence of COVID-19 vaccine injection.
The DOH, on the other hand, has issued a reminder to vaccine providers to ensure that they are administering the medicine to the correct person. Patients must first determine which vaccine was given to them, according to DOH Usec. Maria Rosario Vergeire. Second, we must double-check the syringe and ensure that all necessary processes have been accomplished.
The time spent by vaccination teams at immunization sites should not be excessive. She believes that health workers’ shifts should be limited to eight hours and that there should be a rotation of personnel so that they do not become too fatigued and make mistakes.
She also believes that a monitoring and supervisory presence at the immunization location would be beneficial. Those who have been vaccinated can request to view the syringe used on them to ensure that they have received the drug.
