A never-ending controversy is the relationship of actress Julia Barretto with her biological father comedian Dennis Padilla. The past issue regarding the changing of last name of the comedian’s children with Marjorie Barretto was brought up again and this ignited new issues. However, after all the bashing against the actress, it has been confirmed that they never changed their last names and they are still using “Baldivia”.
But in a previous article, Julia spoke about being criticized and said that it’s something she grew up with. Criticisms have been a part of her and with all the years enduring hurtful words and accusations from other people, she learned how to handle it and eventually got used to it.
She expressed, “So, you know, when it’s the criticism from people I don’t know and who don’t know me, and don’t play a significant role in my life, it’s easier to shrug off and not worry about.”
And such issues circulating online, showbiz reporter Lolit Solis has an unsolicited advice about it. The veteran journalist shared that whatever happens, Dennis will always remain her father. Manay Lolit wrote, “Basta kay Julia, honor your father, kay Dennis, be a real forgiving father. Maayos din iyan.”
And the comment section of such post has been flooded with criticisms against the young actress. And her mother, seemingly pained reading the accusations, lambasted the comments.
