Chinese National Arrested Over Illegal Drugs Worth P258.4 Million in Manila
The government’s law enforcers arrested a Chinese national allegedly possessing illegal drugs called “shabu” worth P258.4 million in Manila.
After executing a search warrant on two condo units at the Royal Twin Tower in Manila city, a Chinese national was arrested by a joint force of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), Philippine National Police (PNP), and Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP).

Zhizun Chen, 38, a casino financier who lives at 168 Tower 2 Soler Street in Binondo, Manila, was recognized by PDEA Director General Wilkins Villanueva. The narcotics operation was carried out in Slot 64 3rd Floor, Royal Plaza Twin and Unit 1605 Royal Plaza Twin Tower and Towers, Remedios Street, Malate, Manila, according to the report.
Authorities were also discovered to have been monitoring the suspect for nearly three months. PDEA got two search warrants with serial numbers 21-31390 and 21-31389 from the court after they confirmed positive.
The alleged condo units were in Slot 64 3rd Floor, Royal Plaza Twin Towers, and the search warrant was able to raid and search them. A Toyata Grandia with license plate NDA 5174 and 23 kilos of shabu worth P156.4 million were seized.
15 kilos of drugs worth P102 million, 10 liters of liquid suspected of being used in the creation of illegal drugs, small bricks of hashish, different drug accessories, and five cellphones were recovered at the 1605 Royal Plaza Twin Tower. The suspect was arrested and charged with breaking RA9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
