PAGASA Says Most Parts of Luzon to Experience Fair Weather Except for Some Rains Due to Habagat

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the most parts of Luzon would have a fair weather condition while Habagat would bring cloudy to rainy condition.

On Tuesday (June 15, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The southwest monsoon would continue to affect the country’s weather condition.

The southwest monsoon would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque, and Romblon.

The localized thunderstorms would also bring the Entire Visayas, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan including Kalayaan Group of Islands would also experience the same weather condition.

Habagat would bring cloudy conditions with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Ilocos region. Metro Manila and the rest of the country would also experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Most parts of Luzon would have a generally fair weather condition except for scattered rain showers and thunderstorms. No low-pressure systems are expected to enter the country’s vicinity within the next three days.

The weather agency also warned the residents in the affected areas for possible flash floods and landslides during severe thunderstorms and moderate to at times heavy rains.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the northern and western section of Luzon would be moderate to rough. The surrounding sea conditions over the remaining parts of the Philippines would be slight to moderate, according to PAGASA.
