Coco Martin talked about Julia Montes
Kapamilya actress Julia Montes said that primetime action king Coco Martin is the real boss.
Coco and Julia had been together for quite a long time already, but it was just a few years ago when they finally admitted their relationship. This garnered support from their fans and friends in the entertainment industry.
The celebrity couple is set to have their onscreen reunion in the action-drama series Sigabo. Just recently, based on the article in Bandera, Coco showcased his new look. For the series, he sported longer hair.
CCM Film Productions’ YouTube channel shared some behind-the-scenes videos of the scene in which Coco and Julia were being chased.
The couple expressed excitement for their reunion project. “Excited (kami) kasi matagal-tagal na rin after ng Walang Hanggan, Ikaw Lamang (2014), Yamashita Treasure (Wansapanataym, 2015) tapos Ang Probinsyano (2021) pero maikling-maikli lang,” the actor said.
In their new series, the story revolves around them as a couple. Coco Martin admitted that he and Julia Montes are quite nervous about this project, but he said that it is a good thing also, since this kind of feeling would push them to make their series even better for the Kapamilya viewers.
Then, it was mentioned that Coco remains the King and Julia is the Queen of Primetime. “Ha-hahaha! Marami pa kaming bigas na kakainin (at) tatrabahuin,” Julia laughingly said.
Coco also downplayed the said title, stressing that he and Julia, including the CCM team, are just hard-working people, and that they are just very passionate about their work.
“Siyempre alam naman namin ‘yung kaakibat nito, e, ‘yung pagbibigay ng saya sa lahat ng mga manonood ng ABS-CBN, ‘yung pagbibigay ng saya at inspirasyon para sa mga Kapamilya,” the actor added.
Julia also said that the Pinoy audience believes that when Coco makes teleseryes, these reflect the Filipino values and culture. The actress is also happy and excited to work with her real-life boyfriend once again.
Coco said that he can feel Julia’s support now and that every time they have a project together, they feel each other’s support. He also said that in CCM Productions, they are really like a family.
“At ako po sobra akong proud dito sa boss ko,” the actor said. However, Julia contradicted him.
“Hindi, ito ang tunay kong boss, sobra akong proud, ito ‘yung dream ko para sa kanya at lagi kong sinasabi na this time sana ikaw naman as Coco Martin Sigabo,” Julia Montes shared.
