PAGASA Says Monsoon’s Trough to Affect PH Weather on Friday (June 11)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the monsoon’s trough would bring cloudy to rainy conditions over some parts of the country.

On Friday (June 11, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The monsoon’s trough would continue to affect the country’s weather condition.

The monsoon’s trough would bring cloudy weather condition with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms Oriental Mindoro, Romblon and Marinduque. Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan including Kalayaan Group of Islands would also experience similar weather condition.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms are also expected over Bicol Region and Northern Samar. The entire Visayas would also experience the same weather condition.

The remaining parts of the Philippines would also experience the same weather due to weather system.

The weather agency also warned the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods and landslides during severe thunderstorms and moderate to at times heavy rains.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the entire country would be slight to moderate, according to the PAGASA.
