Claudine Barretto says she can relate to her upcoming movie ‘Deception’
Optimum Star Claudine Barretto shared the betrayal and deception she experienced in the past as a bit similar to her role in her upcoming movie with her ex-boyfriend Mark Anthony Fernandez.
The movie Deception is the reunion movie of Claudine and Mark under Viva Films and Borracho Film Production. Although their supposed movie together in 2018 did not push through, stars aligned for this former couple this year as their movie project is already in the works.
Claudine shared in a recent media conference that she can relate to the story of Deception, based on the article in The Philippine Star.
“I think kung nasubaybayan n’yo ‘yung journey ko, ‘yung mga pinagdaanan ko, ‘yung paghihiwalay ko, pagbebetray ng mga kung sino mang mga tao, lahat ng deception na ‘yun napagdaanan ko na. So ‘yung pelikula it hits close to home,” she said.
She added that she can really relate to this because it was her first-hand experience. Claudine Barretto also said that there are scenes in the movie that seemed like those that happened in real life.
“Ang hindi lang nangyari siguro ‘yung mga part ng mga murder-murder, pero deception has always been part of my life. It has always been done to me in so many ways,” the Optimum Star shared.
Claudine also mentioned during the interview that after this movie with Mark Anthony, she is set to have her TV comeback. She will be doing a teleserye again.
“Siguro pahinga lang ng sandali tapos magteteleserye na. May nakaprepare na eh. Tatapusin lang muna ‘yung movie,” the actress revealed.
