He’s now under Maja Salvador’s management company – the Crown Artist Management and is reportedly set to make a sitcom with Kapuso actress Andrea Torres. He was already allowed by his network to appear in GMA after the Kapuso host asked the permission of ABS-CBN President and CEO Carlo Katigbak.

Talking to The STAR, Gozon said that GMA has always wanted John Lloyd and currently, after his indefinite leave, he was left already with no more contractual obligations with any other networks. The actor has also assured this to her, thus, there’s no more obstacle for him anymore not to appear in their network.

Gozon furthered that Cruz has actually planned to move to them 20 years ago but legal obstacles surfaced and now that none has left, this could really be his time to be with them. GMA chairman and CEO lawyer Felipe Gozon also wanted John Lloyd in his network before up until now.

The GMA is welcoming John Lloyd if he ever makes up his mind and they are actually waiting already for the pitch of the sitcom that he and Willie have talked about. As soon as they’ll officially receive it, they will try to find a timeslot for it. Also, she shared that she dreams of GMA Films making a movie with him.
