Desperate Woman Arrested by Police Authorities After Selling Her Own Child Online
TAGUM CITY – The police authorities arrested a desperate woman after selling her own child online just to earn money.
Nowadays, poverty has been one of the major problems not only in the Philippines but also in different countries all around the world. It usually leads people to engage in illegal activities just to earn.
Tagum City Police arrested a lady for allegedly selling her own child at an online shop she found on social media. The irresponsible lady is selling the kid at a price of P200, 000 based on her post on social media.
The concerned netizens immediately reported the incident to the authorities fearing that the kid may suffer abuse and maltreatment from the hands of the buyer. The female suspect refused to give a statement regarding the incident.
The woman and the child’s name have been kept to protect their privacy and for their own safety. The suspect is currently under the custody of Tagum City Police in Davao del Norte.
