PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Wednesday (May 19)

LATEST WEATHER UPDATE – The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the ITCZ would bring rains over Palawan, Visayas and Mindanao.

On Wednesday (May 19, 2021), Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather update in the country. The Intertropical Convergence Zone would affect the country’s weather condition.

The ITCZ would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over Bicol Region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon.

The easterlies would bring cloudy weather conditions with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over entire Visayas and Palawan including Kalayaan Group of Islands.

The localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms over some parts of Mindanao. Metro Manila and the rest of the country would also experience the same weather condition.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over the Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, and Occidental Mindoro as well as the remaining parts of the country would be slight to moderate.

PAGASA also warned the residents in the affected areas of flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
