Concerned Lady Raises Awareness of Delivery Riders About Scammers Claiming Customer’s Orders
A concerned lady warned the delivery riders of scammers who were allegedly claiming the orders of the customers.
A Facebook user named Desiree Laborte Famisan has raised the awareness of delivery riders of scammers who were claiming the orders of their customers. The post garnered various reactions online.
Desiree said that she ordered milk tea and paid it via Gcash then waited for their order to arrive. After waiting for an hour, the rider did not arrive and they have tried to contact but it did not respond.
Famisan saw a Food Panda rider who delivered some orders to a nearby building and she was surprised that the transaction has been noted. She immediately reported it to Panda as their neighbor denied that a rider delivered her order to them.
Luckily, Food Panda refunded their orders after receiving proofs and evidences. The company could not also contact the rider.

“POST FOR AWARENESS OF RIDERS.
Trending ngayon yung panda rider na nagpatulfo dahil dalawang beses nireport yung order na delivered and bayad online.
Pero nangyari po samin ito kagabi at kasalanan ng rider.
Kagabi po nag order kami ng milktea sa Food panda take note BAYAD NA SYA FROM GCASH. Almost an hour na po kami nag antay sa rider. Nag chat na kami ilang beses sa rider through app pero wala pong reply. Meron kami nakitang rider ng foodpanda na dumating pero sa kabilang building nag drop off kaya akala namin hindi iyon. Pero nagulat kami na noted sa app na delivered na yung order ( no txt or reply or calls from the rider). So dito palang, nakutuban na namin na yung rider na nagdeliver dun sa kabilang building yun. Kaya nireport agad namin. However, pinuntahan di po ng asawa ko yung kabilang building at tinanong nya kung may kumuha daw ba nung dineliver nung rider kanina, ang sabi wala naman daw nagdeliver at nakangiti pa ( ANG KAPAL DIN NG MUKA). And ending umorder kami para higupin ng iba yung milktea! Pero mabuti nalang at nirefund ng foodpanda pagka report, pinakita samin yung picture na sinend ng rider, pero yung picture sahig lang at motor nya! Wala man lang picture nung nag receive!( kahit mismong food panda support hindi rin daw niya macontact yung rider).
Kaya po paalala po sa lahat ng rider. Uso ang scam ngayon at makakapal ang muka. Siguraduhin po ninyo na yung bibigyan niyo ng order eh yun mismong nag order lalo na kung bayad na. At mag reply palagi or magtxt/call sa recipient bago pumunta jusko!
