Suspects For Stealing Smartphones of Patients at Naga COVID-19 Facility Arrested by Police Authorities
The police authorities arrested two thieves who reportedly robbed patients at Naga COVID-19 isolation facility.
The suspects identified as Francis Misenabre, 23, and Denver Dagohoy, 39 have been arrested for stealing five smartphones from five COVID-19 patients at an isolation center in South Poblacion in Naga City.
Investigator Police Master Sergeant Jake Catane said that the cops are already hunting another suspect identified as Saddam Villarino. The authorities were able to identify the suspects through the accounts of the victims.
Naga police arrest Misenabre and Dagohoy during a hot-pursuit operation at Purok Talong 2, Barangay South Poblacion. The police recovered five smartphone from the suspects.
Catane said that their initial investigation shows that the suspects performed their illegal activity while the victims were sleeping in isolation rooms. The guard notice the suspects but failed to arrest them.
The cop is already looking for ways on how the victims could file charges against the suspects and explained that it was the first it happened at a COVID-19 isolation facility. The suspects have been placed in a separate detention cell because they have entered a COVID-19 facility.

The culprits would face charges of robbery due to the incident.
