The Honor 8S 2020 was officially announced on May 27, 2020. The materials used in building the smartphone include a glass front, a plastic back, and a plastic frame. It measures 147.1 x 70.8 x 8.5 mm and weighs 146 grams.
Honor 8S 2020 comes in a 5.7” screen size and the display is IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that gives 720 x 1520 pixels resolution. It was launched in Green, Midnight Black, and Navy Blue colors.
The rear side of the smartphone sports a 13-megapixel camera with features like panorama, HDR, and LED flash. For clicking selfies and self-shooting videos, there is a single camera on the front that features a 5-megapixel camera.
Honor 8S 2020 is powered by Mediatek MT6761 Helio P22 (12 nm) processor while the graphics processing unit (GPU) is PowerVR GE8320. The phone runs on the Android 9.0 (Pie) + EMUI 9 operating system.
Connectivity options on the device include WiFi 801.11 b/g/n, MicroUSB 2.0, FM radio, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS with A-GPS, BDS, and GLONASS. Sensors on the phone include proximity and an accelerometer. It is fueled with a non-removable Li-Po 3020 mAh battery.
