Dingdong Dantes talked about this aspect of his relationship with Marian Rivera
Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes shared how he and his wife, Kapuso Primetime Queen Marian Rivera, handle conflicts, if ever there are.
Dingdong and Marian, known as the DongYan tandem, tied the knot on December 30, 2014. On their 10th anniversary, the celebrity couple renewed their vows at the Immaculate Conception Cathedral in Cubao. It was an intimate and heartwarming event with their children, Zia and Sixto.
The couple has been receiving admiration for their bond and how they handle their relationship.
In a recent interview, based on the article in GMA Entertainment, Dingdong Dantes was asked how he and Marian Rivera would handle conflict.
“Sa oras, halimbawa, kasi minsan wala ring oras para pag-usapan, like pareho kaming busy,” The Master Cutter lead star said.
One of the projects that is keeping them busy right now is their upcoming movie, Remember. The couple went to Quebec, Canada, to film this project. Dingdong said that this will be the opportunity for them to talk.
He said that honest communication is a big factor in the lives of many couples.
“May gagawin kami somewhere, we will be together for quite a long time. So, makakapag-usap kami, ‘yun naman talaga ‘yung pinakamahalaga, usap talaga,” he said.
The actor pointed out that true conversation is not just through text because he understands that Marian is also a busy mom. When he is away, his wife really takes care of their kids, and so he said that he understands this.
He also mentioned that once in a while, they intentionally set a time for both of them.
“Mahalaga talaga na meron kaming oras na para sa amin lang. I guess, we really just have to find that at least once a week or once a month, date o kahit dun lang kami sa labas o saan man. Basta, makapag-usap nang masinsinan.” Dingdong Dantes said.
