Check out the mixed reactions of the people online about this:

Seems that some pple dont even understand the term of “opinion”

Miss Catriona is not bias, its true that Miss Phillippines is not for Best National Costume, but I still lover her costumes tho…

Just like you I felt offended as a Filipino and a fan. But that’s totally her opinion, respect that.

Not picking Rabiya’s NatCos as one of the bests doesn’t mean you’re not supporting her.

The national costume of Rabiya was flag-inspired and every details of the outfit speaks loudly about the country coming from the color choices and the symbolisms used. She wowed the crowd and at this time of posting, people were head-over-heels in love of how she carried it.

The outfit was designed by late Pinoy international fashion designer Rocky Gathercole. A headpiece was also made for her by local jeweler Manny Halasan but she was not seen wearing it. The preliminary competition of the pageant will be aired live via the Lazada Philippines app on Saturday, May 15, and will also be available via Miss Universe’s official YouTube channel.
