Here’s the Miss Universe 2020 national costume of PH bet Rabiya Mateo that made many heads turn.

MISS UNIVERSE 2020 – This is what Rabiya Mateo has worn during the national costume competition of Miss Universe 2020.

As the coronation night approaches and set to happen on May 16 which is May 17 in the Philippines, the Miss Universe pageant moves on to the national competition where the delegates showcased their country’s culture through their traditional outfit and how they bear it. The Philippines’ official candidate is the Iloilo beauty Rabiya Mateo who instantly became a crowd’s favorite.

The national costume competition was held at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel, Florida where the coronation will also be held, and making heads turn during this portion is the PH bet who wore something that symbolizes the Philippines. Rabiya’s national costume is created by the late Rocky Gathercole and jewelry designer Manny Halasan.

The costume represents the Philippine flag where it showed an equal balance of dominance in colors of strong blue and red and the three stars that signify the three main islands of the archipelago – Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. Accordingly, the blue is for royalty and the red is for the courage and strength of an independent woman.
