Carnapper Stealing Police’s Motorcycle Immediately Arrested in Makati City

Authorities immediately arrested a carnapper after allegedly stealing the Philippine National Police (PNP) police’s motorcycle in Makati City.

A 24-year-old man was arrested in Makati City for allegedly stealing a PNP officer’s motorcycle. In the Taguig City Police detention cell, the suspect was named Paul Matthew Tanglao.

Police Major General Vicente Danao, Jr. of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) said they are planning to file a complaint about violating Republic Act No. 10883. (New Anti-Carnapping Law). Tanglao was apprehended while wandering in Cadena de Amor St., Barangay Pembo, Makati City, on Saturday, April 24.

According to the police investigation, a black Raider Fl 115 was stolen on Friday, April 23, while parked right in front of Pinagsama Police Sub-Station 3, where the motorcycle’s driver, P/Major Fernando Carlos, was stationed. With the assistance of a confidential informant, the suspect’s whereabouts were tracked, and Taguig Police operatives arrested him right away.

Meanwhile, the couple, both senior citizens, were gunned down inside a white van in Bel Air, Makati City. The shooting took place on Jupiter St. in Makati City, where two seniors were killed while inside their vehicle.

Authorities conducted an investigation whether the male victim, who was wearing a black jacket with an “NBI” written on it, had a link to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), and the female victim, who collapsed behind the driver’s seat, had a connection to the NBI as well.
