Julia Barretto shared that she said this to Joshua Garcia
Actress Julia Barretto shared the love advice she had for her ex-boyfriend actor Joshua Garcia as they are able to maintain the friendship between them after they broke up.
Julia and Joshua have been together as a couple for two years, aside from the years that they were together as the JoshLia love team. When they announced their breakup, they said that they chose to be friends.
Based on the article in Pang-Masa, King of Talk Boy Abunda shared that conversation he had with the young actress during a recent episode of his digital talk show, The Best Talk.
The veteran talk show host shared that one of the topics in his conversation with Julia Barretto was about her ex-boyfriend Joshua Garcia. “Sabi niya (Julia), ‘alam mo, tito Boy, ‘yung pagiging magkaibigan namin ni Joshua ngayon is at its best, we’re very, very good friends,’” the host shared.
Then, the actress shared her love advice to Joshua, which showed the friendship they have now after having a romantic relationship. “Joshua, ‘wag ka muna mag-girlfriend. Mag-concentrate ka sa trabaho mo,” she said to actor.
This came from the knowledge of Julia about how passionate Joshua is in his craft. In a previous interview, it was revealed that the actor was not interested in acting workshops before but now this has changed. He is the one asking for a workshop and as a result, he is now being praised for his good portrayal of his roles.
Julia Barretto and Boy Abunda also talked about the current boyfriend of the actress, Gerald Anderson. She said that one good thing about Gerald is that he guides her. Tito Boy said that the daughter of Marjorie Barretto is very happy right now.
