PAGASA Says Northeasterly Surface Windflow to Bring Rains Over Parts of PH

PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Saturday (April 10)

The state weather bureau PAGASA said that the Northeasterly Surface Windflow would bring rains over some parts of the country.

On Saturday (April 10, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather updates in the country. The Northeasterly Surface Windflow would continue to affect the country’s weather condition.

PAGASA said that the weather disturbance would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over Batanes and Babuyan Group of islands. It has no significant impact in the country.

The localized thunderstorms would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers over mainland Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Abra, Benguet, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan and Aurora.

The easterlies would also bring the same weather condition over the entire Visayas, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands, Occidental Mindoro and Mindanao.

Meanwhile, the coastal water conditions over the northern Luzon would moderate to rough. The surrounding sea conditions over the entire Visayas, Occidental Mindoro, Palawan including Kalayaan Islands and Mindanao would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.

The weather agency also warned the residents in the affected areas to take precautionary measures for possible flash floods and landslides during severe thunderstorms.
