PAGASA: LPA & Northeasterly Windflow to Bring Rains Over Parts of PH

PAGASA Releases Latest Weather Update for Wednesday (April 7)

The state weather bureau PAGASA reported that the low-pressure area and the northeasterly windflow would bring rains over some parts of the country.

On Wednesday (April 7, 2021), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration released the latest weather updates in the country. The LPA and northeasterly windflow would affect the country’s weather condition.

The Low Pressure Area has been located at 790 kilometers east of Hinatuan, Surigao del Sur. It would affect the weather condition in Luzon.

The Northeasterly windflow would bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Abra, Benguet, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union and Pangasinan.

Bicol region, Northern Samar, Oriental Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon would also experience similar weather condition. The localized thunderstorms would also bring the same weather over Visayas and Mindanao.

Meanwhile, the coastal water condition over the entire Visayas, Occidental Mindoro, and Palawan including Kalayaan Islands as well as Visayas and Mindanao would be slight to moderate, according to the weather bureau.
