Is it true that Bea Alonzo has an offer from the Kapuso network?
GMA Network is allegedly preparing a big contract for actress Bea Alonzo who was previously under ABS-CBN’s Star Magic.
For two decades of her career in the entertainment industry, Bea has been under the Kapamilya’s talent management firm.
However, in February this year, she announced that she decided to leave Star Magic and is now being handled by talent manager Shirley Kuan.
She is currently working on a movie with Kapuso Pambansang Bae Alden Richards, a remake of the Japanese series that was also made into a movie in South Korea. This movie is under Viva Films, GMA Pictures, and APT Entertainment.
In an article in PEP, it was said that there were speculations circulating in showbiz circles that Bea Alonzo has an offer from GMA Network.
A source of entertainment columnist Gorgy Rula said that the deal was sealed and an amount was mentioned. However, when an executive from GMA was asked about this, it was said that there is official information about this.
In line with this, entertainment columnist Noel Ferre, Bea’s “classmate” said that the actress will be focusing as of now on her movie with Alden. If TV projects will come along the way, this might be done much later because of the long preparation.
Ferrer added that it came to their knowledge that there is one celebrity who is set to transfer to the Kapamilya network. Previously, Janine Gutierrez, one of GMA’s A-list actresses before transferred to ABS-CBN early this year.
Meanwhile, Maja Salvador, who has been under Star Magic for 18 years now was also rumored to be a Kapuso. However, she has a new teleserye now on TV5.
