Is Maja Salvador really transferring to GMA-7?
Rumor has it that actress-dancer Maja Salvador will transfer to the Kapuso network and with this issue, several people from GMA-7 have spoken.
The speculation about the ‘lipatan’ surfaced after Maja’s stint on TV5’s Sunday Noontime Live (SNL). Unfortunately, her musical variety show with Piolo Pascual and Catriona Gray only lasted for one cycle.
After this, it was rumored that she will become a Kapuso and allegedly, she will be part of Heart Evangelista’s new series with Richard Yap. It was also rumored that she will be the new co-host of Willie Revillame in Wowowin. However, the latter denied that this is going to happen.
Following that, write-ups surfaced that her boyfriend, Rambo Nunez, who is now her manager, is still negotiating with GMA-7.
In line with this, PEP columnist Gorgy Rula wrote in his recent article that people from GMA-7 wondered why this kind of rumor has been spreading.
“Ipinagtataka raw nila kung bakit may ganoong kumakalat na balita dahil, definitely, hindi raw ito nanggaling sa kanila. Kung totoong merong pirmahang nangyari, hihintayin na lang ang formal announcement, pero waley pa raw talaga,” the columnist said.
Rula added that the rumored negotiation between GMA and Maja Salvador’s camp was vague until the rumors surfaced that she will be doing a soap opera on TV5 with Empoy Marquez.
The columnist said that because of this, some people are thinking that the issue on network transfer is just being used for still unsettled projects.
“Meron kasing style ang ibang artista na kunwari kinukuha raw ng GMA-7 o ng anumang istasyon para makapagpresyo nang bongga sa inaalok na project,” Rula added.
