Bea Alonzo Leaves Star Magic, ABS-CBN Has This Official Statement

After almost two decades, Bea Alonzo left Star Magic.

BEA ALONZO – Among the biggest stars of ABS-CBN network leaves talent arm Star Magic and here is their statement about this.

After 19 years, Kapamilya actress Bea Alonzo left her network’s talent arm Star Magic where she recognized as a home-grown talent and an A-list artist having premium records in box-office, television ratings, endorsements, and fan base. She is among the Star Magic Batch 10 launched in 2001 along with Dennis Trillo, Alfred Vargas, Nadine Samonte, TJ Trinidad, and Karel Marquez.

Other A-listers of ABS-CBN included John Lloyd Cruz, Piolo Pascual, Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, Liza Soberano, Enrique Gil, Toni Gonzaga, Coco Martin, Vice Ganda, and Sarah Geronimo. And it was last October that her contract with the Star Magic has expired and she didn’t renew.

With this, the network has released their official statement regarding this matter. They confirmed that Bea has left and will now be with Ms. Shirley Kuan under a new talent management. The network trusts Kuan that she will take care Bea as much as they have taken care of her. They added that even if Bea is no longer a part of Star Magic, she will remain as a Kapamilya.

After a series of consultations, Bea Alonzo has decided to pursue her professional goals under a new talent management. Bea has subsequently advised ABS-CBN that she has appointed Ms. Shirley Kuan to represent her as manager. We respect her decision.

ABS-CBN has full confidence that Ms. Kuan, an industry veteran, will manage Bea with the same attention and care that Star Magic has devoted to Bea’s professional career. Star Magic is coordinating with Bea and her new management to ensure a smooth and seamless transition.

Even if Bea is no longer with Star Magic, she will always remain a Kapamilya.

Bea is already an icon being paired with John Lloyd. Their love team has made blockbuster movies such as One More Chance (2007), Miss You Like Crazy (2010), and A Second Chance (2015).
