Kidapawan Man Who Complain Knife Embedded in His Body Will Be Help for Free
A man in Kidapawan City who seeks help to remove the bladed knife that has been embedded in his body for a year received free operation.
In our previous article, the bladed knife was discovered only when2 5-year-old Kent Ryan Tomao underwent an X-ray as a requirement for the job. It was allegedly embedded inside the body for more than a year.
According to Tomao, was allegedly stabbed last year while riding a motorcycle. He was taken to the North Cotabato Provincial Hospital but the four-inch-long knife was not removed from his abdomen.
In Tomao’s story, he waited 4 hours to be treated by the hospital after being stabbed. When the doctor arrived, he was told that there was no need to have an X-ray because the wound was only superficial so it was sutured immediately.

He recently found out that there’s a knife in his body when he undergoes an X-ray for job requirements. Also because of the knife, Tomao failed the medical examination and was not hired so he called on the radio for anyone who could help to remove the knife in his stomach.
In a report by ABS-CBN News, Dr. Joel Nelton Sungcad, chief of North Cotabato Provincial Hospital, that they will operate on Tomao for free. He said they have already talked to Tomao’s family and are just waiting for him to return to Kidapawan City from Agusan del Sur to perform the operation.
“We have already negotiated with the patient’s family. And we are still waiting for him to come home and have him operated in the hospital without charge,” Sungcad said in a statement.
According to Sungcad, because Tomao is looking for a job, he may also be given a job at the hospital, depending on his qualifications. Tomao had earlier said that he had no intention of suing the hospital or even the doctor who sutured his wound.
