US President Joe Biden Speaks About Chinese President Xi Jinping
US PRESIDENT JOE BIDEN – United States President Joe Biden spoke about Chinese leader Xi Jinping saying he does not believe in democracy.
It is a widely known reality that the United States and China are not agreeing on several terms. In fact, during the term of former U.S. President Donald Trump, he was vocal about blaming the Chinese government over the COVID-19 pandemic.
Trump wanted China to “pay” over the pandemic that rocked several healthcare systems across the globe. He lost the recent election and America is now led by Joe Biden, its former vice president.

Recently, US President Joe Biden spoke about China President Xi Jinping. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the U.S. Chief Executive said that he spent “hours upon hours” with the Chinese leader when he was vice president.
According to Biden, Xi does not believe in the power of democracy. He also compared him to Russian President Vladimir Putin “who thinks that autocracy is the wave of the future” and democracy can’t do well in an “ever-complex world”.
The U.S. President expressed that Xi doesn’t have a democratic bone in his body “but he’s a smart, smart guy”. Based on the report, he clarified that the United States is not looking for confrontation although they can see competition. What they are urging is for China to play fairly under the rules set.
Biden expressed that the U.S. will work with its allies to respond to China’s actions against Hong Kong, Taiwan, the Uighor minority, and over the South China Sea.
